Description: During the Victorian era, ironstone pitchers and basins were commonly seen in most homes. This beautiful, crisp, white ironstone pitcher by Crescent Pottery, Trenton, N.J. stands 9 3/4” tall just under 4 pounds with a simple yet elegant shape. It features a smooth, white surface with a simple rope motif on each side of the handle. What makes this one special is the wide body and mouth of the pitcher. Although this pitcher does have a nick and discoloration under the spout, it still is crisp , fresh and functional!

Condition: Previously owned – used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Handle and rim are smooth. A bump on neck, under spout has caused a nick surrounded by a discoloration (1/2″ x 1/4″) as shown. Areas of light crazing, mostly on bottom base. A line of discoloration/stain on inside base (as shown).
