Antique French Blue Decorated Enamel Biggin Drip Coffee Pot 12 1/2″ Zsinta

 

Product Description:  This charming, country-blue enameled Biggin drip coffee pot would make a delightful French Country accent.  Most likely from the earlier 1900’s, it stands 12 1/2″ tall with a gooseneck spout and riveted handles.  It is nicely decorated with raised, thick enameled pink roses and purple and yellow pansies.  A complete set sith 4 pieces: the pot, drip filter, strainer and lid.  Since the lid fits both the filter and the pot, they could be displayed together or separate.  With a few enamel chips, mostly on the lid, strainer and filter, the character and charm is out of this world!

Condition:  Previously owned – used.  The inside of the coffee pot is in very good condition with minimal wear.  Light wear and patina on the spout, rims, lid and filter.  Two early enamel chips on lid and loss of enamel on the inside neck of drip filter and strainer (as shown). Due to age, being sold for decorative purposes, not for use.
