Antique John Mackintosh Toffee Tin Green and Red – English Sweetmeat Zsinta

Description:  John Mackintosh once marketed as the “Toffee King” sold his famous Old English Sweetmeat (Toffee) Candy in this tin. From the early 1900’s it showcases early graphics on four sides and the lid. The back and two sides still retains most of its colorful graphics in green and red with a touch of cream and gold.

Condition: Previously owned – used. Good – Fair condition. Front side graphics are dark and worn. Back and two sides are still clear and readable with some scratches and wear. Top lid and interior exhibits age darkening. Worn graphics on lid with some dents, although still opens and closes.
