Product Description:  Picture this exceptional Wellington Knife Sharpening Board from the Victorian era on display in your kitchen or restaurant. In rectangular form with a dome top, it hangs 17 ¾” tall with remnants of early graphics. The paper label on one side is still intact with the advertising information about the Wellington Knife Board, Wellington Knife Polish and Oakey’s Wellington Knife Polish. The opposite side has an adhered piece of leather, rubber or composite material which was once used to sharpen knives. An amazing Wellington advertising collectible with original surface patina and character.

Condition:  Previously owned – used.  Condition is consistent with age and normal use Label and graphics are in readable condition with fading of orange color label.  Wood board: wear on edges, discoloration, patina and rubbing.  Composite material on opposite side is cracking and chipping.  On same side there may have been a brass plaque/marker on dome top which is now missing.
