Description:  During the Victorian era, Ironstone pitchers and basins were commonly seen in most homes. Imagine this beautiful, crisp, white ironstone pitcher from the mid to late 1800’s displayed in your kitchen, bedroom, or really any room. By George Jones, Staffordshire, England it features a smooth, glazed white surface and thumb rest. It stands 9 ½” inches tall and rather wide with a simple yet elegant shape. Don’t let the height fool you. This ironstone pitcher can hold up to 13 cups of liquid. Back stamp dates this beauty mid to late 1800s. Over 145 years old, this ironstone picture is still so fresh and functional.
